I’m bringing Cinnamon Bun RumChata Martini to the party @ Fiesta Friday……what will you bring?

Cinnamon bun RumChata martini

My mother in law just came for a visit.  She introduced us to RumChata.  I had never heard of it before.

RumChata is a cream liqueur that has become very popular since its release in 2009. It is made from a blend of five-time distilled Caribbean rums with Wisconsin dairy cream and flavored with cinnamon, vanilla, and other “secret” flavors.

She mixes it with Fireball Whiskey and says ” it tastes just like a cinnamon bun in a glass”.

So I named the drink Cinnamon Bun RumChata Martini!

There are many recipes out there to enjoy RumChata with but this was my first experience with it so I enjoyed it how she served it- on the rocks with fireball whiskey.  No measuring necessary.  She just looked at the color and knew!😜

I decided that it would be pretty tasty as a martini too!🍸

It was!  I sugared the rim with cinnamon sugar and garnished with a cinnamon stick.

I mixed two parts RumChata with one part Fireball Whiskey and it was just right.  If you love a stronger drink, you can add more of the Fireball.

This is a great drink for that quickly approaching winter weather.  The Fireball Whiskey really warms you up!😀

Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll be seeing you over at Fiesta Friday
